How to Knit a Fair Isle Vest
with Cynthia Hyslop & Barb Barone

Join Barb and Cynthia for a six-session course to knit the beautiful Fair Isle inspired vest, Bramley, by Rowan designer, Lisa Richardson. In this hands-on programme, you'll learn how to navigate and interpret the written pattern, techniques for knitting stranded colourwork, how swatching helps with colour choices and finished measurements, and all the elements of skillfully finishing a garment.
If you've ever looked at a design but shied away from making it because the written instructions seemed overwhelming, you don't like working from charts, you're not sure what size to make, the idea of working with two colours at the same time just makes you feel a little queasy, or you don't like seaming or finishing... then this is the class for you! Barb and Cynthia will smooth the learning curve for you, with weekly classes delivered in 2-hour segments and 3 break weeks built into the timeframe.Â
Further details about materials and the course are provided once you have registered.
