Crochet For Knitters Intensive
With Cynthia Hyslop & Barb Barone

A crochet hook can be a knitter's handiest tool, if you know how to use it. Join Barb and Cynthia to discover "crochet for knitters": adding crochet techniques to your knitting skill set for smart starts and better finishes.
Learn the crochet cast on and cast off, use a chain stitch for embellishments and a beautiful "flat seam", especially on pieces where the stitches don't line up evenly. Use a slip stitch to add stability to a loose neckline, chain stitches for buttonhole loops and simple crochet stitches to add a tidy finish or a non-curling edge to a knitted piece.
To practice your skills, Barb and Cynthia have designed a project that will provide you with inspiration to swatch, experiment and practice. Create a cosy pillow while you learn how a crochet hook can be a knitter's favourite tool. In addition, they'll share examples of how a little crochet can improve the look and fit of your knitted garments.
